The US real estate market made a strong comeback in 2013, surpassing the expectations of many housing experts. The combination of low inventories and affordable interest rates caused prices to rise. This was great news for homeowners, especially those who carried mortgages that once exceeded the value of their homes. This movement toward a more stable housing market is expected to continue in 2014.
