The Leon County circuit court judge who removed the property tax amendment from the January ballot also ruled that the modest property tax reforms created during June’s special session of the
Florida
Legislature pass constitutional muster. That could open the door to other non-ballot changes, though Florida cities and counties plan an appeal.
